When Leadership Newspaper featured The Foundry 1.0, it wasn’t just a headline, it was national recognition of a movement reshaping Nigeria’s real estate future.
In a country where opportunities often feel just out of reach, The Foundry became more than a program — it became a spark. A spark now inspiring a new wave of young leaders who are ready to build, own, and thrive.
A Nation of Dreamers, Ready to Act
In July, hundreds of young Nigerians from across the nation logged in for an intensive five-day virtual experience.
Some were undergraduates juggling lectures and assignments. Others were corps members figuring out life beyond NYSC. Many were young professionals in their first jobs, eager to break free from financial uncertainty.
What brought them together? A shared desire to take control of their future.
Built with a Mission
Hosted by Geofort Africa, The Foundry was created with one powerful mission: to equip young, forward-thinking Africans with the skills, mindset, and strategies to thrive in real estate and beyond.
Over five packed days, participants engaged in sessions led by seasoned industry experts, exploring topics such as:
- The concept of real estate.
- Personal branding for realtors.
- Customer relationship management.
- Real estate sales psychology.
- The land surveyor’s role in real estate transactions.
- Closing deals like a pro.
These weren’t just trainings. They were masterclasses made practical, directly addressing the real-life challenges young Nigerians face when breaking into the real estate industry.
From Learning to Community
By the final day, something had shifted. Participants didn’t just leave with notebooks full of ideas, they left with action plans, renewed confidence, and a network of like-minded peers ready to collaborate and grow together.
Out of this, The Foundry birthed The G-Squad, a vibrant community of young, driven individuals committed to growth, collaboration, and ownership.
Making Headlines
Our recent feature in Leadership Newspaper was more than a moment of pride; it was a signal that the future of Nigerian real estate is being shaped by bold, informed, and determined young people.
One participant captured it perfectly:
“The Foundry didn’t just teach me about real estate, it showed me that I can own my future, no matter where I start from.”
The Journey Continues
The Foundry 1.0 has set the tone, built the community, and proven that when vision meets action, transformation happens.
Now, the fire is lit and The Foundry 2.0 promises more depth, more tools, more opportunities, and more stories of young Africans turning ambition into ownership.
