One year. One stronger foundation. One bigger vision.
One year ago, on October 2, 2025, we began the Geofort journey with a simple conviction: owning real estate should not be complicated or out of reach.
What started as a vision has grown into a company, a team, a community, and a growing body of work across real estate, land surveying, geospatial solutions, property advisory, and youth development.
Today, as we mark our first anniversary, we’re taking a moment to look back, not just at what we’ve achieved, but at the people, lessons, relationships, challenges, and opportunities that have shaped our journey.
And perhaps most importantly, to look ahead.
Because this is only the beginning.
FROM AN IDEA INTO A GROWING BRAND
We started Geofort with a belief that better property decisions begin with better information.
Our work brings together the precision of land surveying and geospatial data with real estate and advisory services because we believe people deserve to understand what they are buying, verify what they are buying, and make property decisions with greater confidence.
The goal was never simply to sell property.
It was to build a better way to understand, verify, and own property.
In our first year, we’ve onboarded more than 20 landowners, surveyed over 75 properties, and trained more than 1,500 young people through our education and capacity-building initiatives.
Behind every number is a story.
A landowner who trusted us with their property.
A client making one of the biggest financial decisions of their life.
A property that required precision and professional attention.
A young person discovering a new career path or learning how to participate more meaningfully in the real estate ecosystem.
The numbers matter.
But the people behind them matter even more.

ONE YEAR. MANY MILESTONES. ONE GROWING COMMUNITY.
The first year has been about more than growth.
It has been about learning what it truly takes to build something that can last.
Building a company rarely follows a straight line. We’ve had wins, difficult decisions, unexpected challenges, mistakes, adjustments, and moments that required us to pause, rethink, and move forward.
Through it all, we kept showing up.
That consistency has shaped us just as much as our milestones have.
We’ve remained intentional about the principles that guide how we work and how we serve.
Our values — Excellence, Precision, Integrity, Clarity, and Stewardship (EPICS) — influence the way we approach our work, communicate with our clients, handle responsibility, and build relationships.
Reflecting on the milestone,

our Founder and CEO, Emeya Friday, said:
“From the beginning, we have been intentional about doing things right — holding ourselves to a standard of excellence, paying attention to detail, leading with integrity, communicating with clarity, and stewarding every opportunity and relationship entrusted to us.”

BEYOND PROPERTY TRANSACTIONS
If there is one thing this first year has reinforced for us, it is that building a stronger real estate ecosystem requires more than property transactions.
It requires knowledge.
It requires access to reliable information.
And it requires people who are equipped to participate.
This belief has shaped our investment in education and capacity building.
Through our training and mentorship initiatives, we’ve created opportunities for young people to learn about real estate, land surveying, property investment, sales, and the wider built environment.
In our first year alone, we’ve reached more than 1,500 young people through these initiatives.
For us, this is bigger than training numbers.
It is about creating access.
It is about helping young people see possibilities within an industry that is often perceived as difficult to enter.
And it is about building a more informed generation of people who can make better property and investment decisions.
BUILDING A COMMUNITY, NOT JUST A CUSTOMER BASE
One of the most rewarding parts of our first year has been watching the Geofort community grow.
From clients and landowners to partners, professionals, young people, G-Tribe members, and G-Squad members, people have continued to gather around a shared interest in learning, building, investing, and creating value.
And sometimes, building community means stepping outside the conventional property conversation.
That was the idea behind Geofort Escape 1.0.
GEOFORT ESCAPE 1.0: EXPLORE. CONNECT. CREATE MEMORIES.
On October 1, 2026, we took our community to Abeokuta, Ogun State, for a day built around food, culture, history, people, and real estate.
The experience was created to commemorate Nigeria’s Independence Day while giving our community the opportunity to connect beyond the usual meetings, site inspections, and property conversations.
We explored.
We connected.
We created memories.
A FIRST-HAND LOOK AT PRASINO LUSH
One of the highlights of the day was a visit to PRASINO Lush, one of our developments in Abeokuta.
For us, this was important because property is more than a brochure, a listing, or a location pinned on a map.
It is a place.
A community.
A future possibility.
Seeing a property first-hand allows people to experience the location, consider its accessibility and surroundings, understand its development potential, and connect the real estate conversation with an actual place.
That is the kind of experience we want to create around property ownership.
HISTORY, CULTURE AND INDEPENDENCE AT OOPL
From PRASINO Lush, we continued to the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), where we explored an important part of Nigeria’s political and historical heritage.
The day became a blend of history, culture, food, music, dancing, conversations, and genuine connection.
It became more than a trip.
It became a memory.
And that was the point.
Geofort Escape was about bringing people together, experiencing a place beyond its property potential, and creating room for people to connect with one another.
WHAT OUR COMMUNITY HAD TO SAY
For participants, the experience created memories that extended beyond the itinerary.
Odosa Ogiemwonyi (Pinky), a Geofort Escape 1.0 participant, shared:
“Words are not enough to express how much we enjoyed ourselves. This was not just some regular outing — the experience was lit. The museum was definitely a favourite, and meeting the CEO of Geofort was another highlight.”
She added:
“I met great people, including some I’ll definitely be working with. And the best part? That PRASINO Lush estate! I’m definitely getting my hands on one of those.”
THE PEOPLE BEHIND OUR JOURNEY
Behind every milestone is a person.
The landowners who entrusted us with their properties.
The clients who chose us.
The professionals and partners who collaborated with us.
The young people who showed up ready to learn.
And the Geofort team that continues to turn ideas into action.
Our first year has reinforced a simple truth:
Meaningful businesses are not built by one person alone.
They are built through relationships, shared responsibility, trust, consistency, and the willingness of people to contribute to something bigger than themselves.
For us, Year One has been as much about people as it has been about property.
LOOKING AHEAD: OUR NEXT CHAPTER
One year in, our foundation is stronger.
But our ambition is bigger.
As we enter our second year, we’re focused on deepening our real estate and geospatial offerings, strengthening our property advisory services, creating more opportunities for young people, and building deeper relationships across the Nigerian real estate ecosystem.
There is still so much to build.
More properties to survey.
More people to educate.
More clients to serve.
More communities to reach.
More ideas to turn into action.
But at the heart of our growth, the central idea remains unchanged:
Make real estate ownership simple.
Make it secure.
Make it achievable.
That is the work.
And it is only beginning.
ONE YEAR DOWN. THE JOURNEY IS JUST BEGINNING.
A year ago, Geofort was an idea backed by conviction.
Today, it is a growing company backed by people, experience, lessons, relationships, and a clearer understanding of the work ahead.
Our first year was about laying the foundation.
Our next chapter is about building on it.
To every client, landowner, partner, friend, G-Tribe member, G-Squad member, team member, and everyone who has contributed to this journey in one way or another — thank you.
Thank you for trusting us.
Thank you for challenging us.
Thank you for growing with us.
Thank you for being part of our story.
One year down.
A stronger foundation.
A bigger vision.
Happy 1st Anniversary, Geofort Africa. 🧡💚
Real estate made simple, secure, and truly yours.
